Can I really learn German in 32 hours?
German language has a reputation to be tough, but let me clear the fact - German is one of the easiest language to learn and to teach as well. German is a very structured language and it can be very well learned with a step -by - step approach. Beginning with simple sentences (A1), to complex sentences (A2) , and then passage making (B1) in these 32 hours one can scale up from beginner to an intermediate level.
How to learn German with the course?
This is an intensive German learning course with online lessons, custom course book including workbook and answer book, and online live lessons. It is recommended that you first learn with the online lessons and the course book and then join the nearest batch to revise, and get your queries answered so that you make the most out of the course. It is strongly recommended to learn as many new verbs and words while one studies with this intensive learning course.
How long will it take to complete one level in German?
For each level the course will be made available over a stretch of a month. i.e. new lessons will be made available in a gap of 4-10 days to pace your learning which will culminate to 28-30 days for each level. Same schedule will be available for the online lessons. It is advised that you begin the online course and then join the nearest available online live batch . In this manner it will take you 1-2 months to master each level.
Is the course book included in the enrollment fees?
The course book is available with enrollment for A1-A2, and A1-B1. You will get a coupon code upon enrollment sent to your email. You can order with the order links. Also, you can order the course books separately as well.
How can I pronounce the German words correctly?
German words are phonetic. If one learns the sounds of the alphabets in German one can pronounce the words correctly. Unlike English or French the German words are pronounced exactly the way they are written. Tip: learn the sounds of the alphabets and practice reading.
Is it better to learn German from a native expert or non-native German speaking expert ?
Being a non- native German speaking person one can relate to the experience of another person who seeks to learn German from scratch as opposed to native speaker who learnt the language as a child and takes the basics for granted. I can relate from my own experiences and know your questions before hand. Also, I can understand how one translates from their native language to German. I will give you a solid German language foundation to break these patterns. Initially the medium of instruction is English gradually becoming German as the course proceeds.
Upon finishing the intermediate level you will be equipped to grow in German independently, and understand, learn, write and speak German with good effect.
Can I give a certification exam after the course?
Upon finishing each level you will be equipped to prepare for the exam for that level. With test-oriented preparation of 1-2 weeks you can appear for any German language certification like Goethe Institute or TELC. Also you can practice with updated test preparation material available on jbschoolofgerman.com. Alternatively, you can schedule for one-on-one lessons with John Berlin only for test preparation.
